Responsibilities Studies building plans to determine work aids and installation sequence. Inspects structures to avoid obstructions and prevent structural weakening.
Marks positions for pipes and connections using measuring tools. Cuts openings in walls and floors for pipes and fittings. Assembles and installs various types of pipes and fittings. Joins pipes using screws, bolts, solder, and other methods. Tests pipe systems for leaks and installs/repairs plumbing fixtures.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must have a Journey Level License from the appropriate authority. Minimum of five years in plumbing. Fluent in English. Must obtain a German work permit and a German driver’s license. Strong organizational, communication, adaptability, and discretion skills.
